Good news from Provence...

Many more friends have decided to rent their homes for holiday and I have created a seperate vacances area for you to visit. Everything from private villas with commanding views of Mt. Ventoux to cozy heart of the village pied-à terre. Please take a look and let us make all the arrangements for a memorable experience.

I headed off to Provence this year with my good friend, Dr. Brent Soper of Nashville, TN. Our mission, besides finding great Cotes du Rhones wine, was to diagnose the ailing roof of a maison du village.

As with any structure that has been worked on for many centuries, there are a multitude of problems to remedy. Luckily, the French have applied modern technology in an effort to save and restore the character of their wonderful ancient villages. New tiles tinted to resemble mossy old ones, insulation board to retrofit into timbered ceilings and flashing (so necessary against the Mistral) that conforms to the "irregularities" (I prefer to call it charm) of old structures.

Three years ago, I chided my friends about the need to invest in France because of the new euro. It entered the market at 70 cents to the dollar and is now around $1.42. I rest my case. Even so, I found GREAT properties for sale this trip and will be featuring them soon.

I enjoy Provence with her quiet village life, lavender fields and rich history. The climate encourages year round outdoor living, the local farming brings wonderful food and wine to the table and the people are always warm and generous.

This is the perfect time to invest in a one-of-kind home and we can introduce you to a fabulous perspective and lifestyle. We will meet you at the Paris, Lyon or Marseilles airports, arrange lodging, transportation and facilitate your French experience. No commitments nor obligations ...just a great adventure.

Here are some examples of what we're interested in restoring. Click on the pictures to the left and visit three properties.

If owning is not for you, a vacation is the next best thing. Visit our current rentals for more information.
